Welfare Services in the Drug Treatment Centre

The Welfare Service at the Drug Treatment is a non-directive client driven services, which seeks to address the needs of the clients in an open and non-judgmental manner.

The Welfare Service aims:

  • To enable clients to seek assistance in an atmosphere of dignity and respect.
  • To assist clients in identifying their social and welfare needs.
  • To assist clients in gaining access to statutory and voluntary services, to undertake an advocacy role on behalf of clients in relation to bodies such as Government Departments, ESB etc.
